  Hi! My name is Diamond Spier! I live in Illinois. My family and I are going to Indiana from Monday, June 18th to Sunday, June 24th, 2012. But before the trip, I want to tell you about my family and me.

  The oldest person in my family is my dad. He is 35 years old. He is a boy. Dad is very sporty. Whenever he sees someone playing a sport, he goes and joins them, even if they are 1 and 2 years old. Dad is also very smart, if a kid needs help with math homework he tells them the answers one minute each one, not even caring that he gives them the answers and not tips to help them. My dad likes to play sports, no matter what sport it is. He also loves to read. He will read all day long if you tell him he doesn't have to go to work. For the trip he will have to bring his glasses.

  The next person in my family is my mom. She is 33 years old. She is a girl. Mom is very sporty. If Dad goes outside to play with kids, she will put Mary-Anne or me in charge and go out to play with them to. She is also very crafty. She has made 10 scrapbooks for each person in our family. She also cares for other people. She will help you if you get one tiny bit hurt.Mom loves sports, any kind of sport. She also loves arts& crafts. As I mentioned earlier she made 10 scrapbooks for each person in our family. She will need to bring her contacts with on the trip.

INVITATION TO A MURDER!

Characters:Branigan,The Fox,Eleanor Abbott,Braun, Butler, Coszyck

Scene 1

Branigan : Eleanor Madeline Abbott announces the impending murder of her husband, Gregory Elliot Abbott at their home, 217A West 86th Street, NY City NY, between the hours of nine thirty and eleven o'clock on the evening of December 16th , 1972. You are cordially invited to attend. An invitation to a murder?(softly) From Mrs. Eleanor Abbott?!

Scene 2

Branigan: (Walks up stairs and rings doorbell)

Butler: (open door) Inspector Branigan?(softly)

Branigan:(nods and hands over letter)

Butler:Thank you sir. All the other guest have already arrived. Follow me please. (Walks down hall to room) In here sir. Mrs.Abbott is expecting you. May I take your coat?(takes off coat, goes in and sits down)

Eleanor:Good evening Inspector Branigan. If you take your seat we can get started.(softly but firmly) (sits)

Eleanor:Thank you for coming.

Fox: I want to know why you sent me that(pause) that incredible invitation!

Eleanor:Why did I invite you? (smile)I am not a liar sir. I invited you all here to witness a murder!(pause dramatically)But first some of my personal history. I was born in Philadelphia in 1945...

Braun:(interrupting) You were born on Thursday September the thirteenth, and not in Philadelphia, you were born in Essington. I guarantee you that everyone of us has looked into your personal history Mrs. Abbott ,so get to the point!

Eleanor:I am getting to the point, Mr. Braun. Please, let me tell this in my own way.

Coszyck:Go ahead, Mrs.Abbott. Do it your way.

Eleanor:Thank you. I came to NY five years ago, when I was 21. I had multiple silly little jobs. Three years ago I was waitressing at a restaurant and Gregory came in with some friends. They ate and left, but I never really noticed. When I got off work Gregory was leaning up against a parking meter with flowers waiting for me. We married 6 months later. We loved each other.

The Fox:He was 35 years older than you were.

Eleanor: He still is. I thought it didn't matter.(close eyes for 3 seconds) but it does. 1 year ago Gregory and I were staying with friends in Aspen. We were both bad skiers, but they were good friends and were having a good time. Gregory wanted to go down one of the more advanced slopes. I thought it wasn't a good idea, but he was so full of life. (pause for 2 seconds)He fell. I was behind them and saw it happened. I couldn't do anything. Ski patrol brought him down and I rode with him to the hospital. He was in critical condition for a week. He was completely paralyzed. He is no longer able to think, see, or hear.

Braun:Mrs.Abbott.(said softly)

Eleanor: It has been a year. there is no chance he will recover. Doctors can keep his body alive for 10 or more years. Gregory is dead. I won’t let them do that. That thing on the bed is not Gregory. He died a year ago.

Branigan: Of course you don’t care about the 6 million dollars? (stares) No. Sorry. I guess you don’t.

Eleanor: In 1 hour, at 11:00, even the doctors will agree he is dead.(sits down)

Scene 3 10:10

Eleanor stands, walks to table and picks up bottle

Coszyck/Branigan grabs Eleanor and sets her back down takes bottle away from here and sits down

Scene 4 10;20

Eleanor goes back to the table

Coszyck/Branigan pushes her back down and stays with her

Scene 5 10:30

Fox examines beds and guards it

Scene 6 10:40

Eleanor stands, but gets pushed back down.

Scene 7 10:50

Coszyck/Branigan put their hands on Eleanor

Scene 8 10:58

Everyone tenses up, but Eleanor stays calm

Scene 9 10:59

Fox: He’s dead.

Eleanor:  I will explain everything. Take your seats.(they sit)I told you I would kill him and I did.  

Coszyck: How did you kill him? You went nowhere near him.

Eleanor:After the accident his heart was to weak to beat normally.It took a medication to keep it beating normally. (all looked shocked) THe medication is in the amber bottle. The average person would die from it so it is labeled with a skull and crossbones. i tried to give it to him, but you stopped me.

Braun: You said it was poison!

Eleanor: You just assumed that.

Branigan: So by taking the bottle I killed him? (Eleanor nods)

Eleanor: You could turn me in for murder or keep it a secret (they discuss)

Braun: We decided that the accused is guilty of murder. (Branigan grabs bottle and smiles at Eleanor

    Guess what! Guess what! Guess what! Melanie slept over finally!!  Who is Melanie? Only the best of the best doll best friends ever known!! She's the polar opposite of  me, but that doesn't matter. We stayed up listening to music, talking, reading AG magazine, and more! It was the best day ever scene I was bought by my mom. Emily wasn't there. You heard me right. Emily Bennett  is my sister. But now her name is Emily Elizabeth Farnsworth.  A lot has happened between now and the last time I wrote. I'm now in 5th grade SWAS(gifted program). We went on a family trip, and Mommy got Emily at MOA. Mall of America. We went to Seattle Ag place, and went for a family reunion on Grampie's side. Then we drove to California. I got to meet cousin Chloe's AG dolls. She had Samantha( historical), Molly, a few MAGs, Kit, and more. We went to AG place LA with her look-a-like. I think her name was Gwen. Anyways, it was a blast.

 Dear Diary,

Hello! My name is Samantha! I'm an American Girl Doll. I have 5 Cabbage Patch Kid siblings. Their names are Evonne (4),Jett (3), Isla(2), Kimokio(2), and Darrell ( 1 ). Today was an exciting day! I finally got to wake up with Mom! It was awesome. after she got home, we got to play on the computer! Then I started this. Not much, huh? Well, to me, It's exciting and awesome! Gotta go now!
